I've always enjoyed organising events and having some level of creative direction for how they and the props involved looked. Over the course of the last few years, I have planned memorable hen parties, baby showers and 30th celebrations - adding a sprinkle of creativity to each.
In the summer of 2019, I planned and hosted a truly epic festival-themed hen party for my sister. In the lead-up to the event, I gifted my sister cards all hinting to what the event would entail, with the final items including a hand-sewn denim 'bride' jacket, and a personalised festival lanyard and wristband. All other guests also received this as their invitation to the event and were instructed on the theme and dress code.
For the props, I commissioned a huge HENFEST sign to be created, handpainted signs and a designated glitter station where guests could choose from 2 face designs.
The event was extremely successful and since then I have created apparel for other brides-to-be, along with renting out the HENFEST sign for similar themed occasions.

I recently had the pleasure of planning a baby shower. For this, I assembled a balloon arch, created 2 dried floral displays and ensured that all cakes matched the decor.

A friend recently celebrated her 30th birthday party and I offered myself up to not only help with the decor and props for the event, but I also dj'd and played the music on the evening. I had a vision in mind for what I thought she would like and I can honestly say that the whole thing looked incredible. I'd designed and constructed straws with her name on, planned and dressed an entire table including coloured candlesticks and the main room was filled with large balloons with pink streamers - perfect for photo opportunities.
